| CPC Groundbreaking Event...August 24, 2008 |

| Our groundbreaking ceremony for our first permanent building was a day of joy, fellowship, and community UNITY. The event including CPC members, members of other Savannah Presbytery congregations, Pooler Mayor Mike Lamb, Interim Executive Presbyter Rev. Greg Garis, Savannah Presbytery NCD Chair Rev. Andy Meeker and numerous other Presbytery Pastors and other Pooler Church Pastors. Our gracious neighbors Risen Savior Lutheran Church, in reaching beyond demoninational lines allowed us to utilize their facility for this event. The children of CPC "broke" the ground in significance of OUR and the communities future.

| The 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament |

| The CPC 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament held on Saturday, July 26th at the Savannah Harbor Golf Club. Many Thanks to the 12 teams who played, the numerous donated gifts and financial contributions, the gracious volunteers , Chris & Craword Hammond, Kay Jensen and Sam Sutherland for spearheading this event. The 1st play Team 11 of Fred Raven, Buddy Saxon, Chris Ferry and John Kidwell with a score of 60. The " God's Grace " award for the most noble effort goes to Team 9 from Pioneer Construction. Total proceeds of donations to the CPC Building Fund = $2575.00 Miscellanous Donor to the CPC Operating Fund of $661.50 WOW!!!

| Fun, Food and Fellowship at this years Church Picnic and Fishing Tournemant. Congratulations to John Henry Hammond on winning the " Biggest Catch" and "Most Caught" awards. Thanks to the Fellowship Band and of course the cook! Donald Lowe!
